Dr. Shauna Anderson - Owner

Dr. Shauna grew up in Southern California. She always had a great variety of animals as her furry friends - dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, iguana, mice, and a horse. Her passion for animals grew from the lifelong care she gave for all of these pets. She
graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with her Bachelors in Science degree. She then attended St. George’s University in Grenada for her first 3 years and the University of Florida for her 4th year of Veterinary School. Dr. Shauna has practiced in South Carolina, including various areas of
Southern California. Practicing veterinary medicine in different regions has allowed for her to see a wide-variety cases.

In 2018, Dr. Shauna came to work in the beautiful mountains at Rimforest Animal Hospital. At the time, the owner, Dr. Jon Frieboes, stated that he was ready to “hang up his syringes”. An opportunity arrived and came to fruition in June of 2019.

Dr. Shauna currently resides in Apple Valley (just short but beautiful drive to the mountains). She has her 3 cats, 2 chickens, a horse and her dog, Gigi, whom some of you may meet when visit the hospital - Gigi is the true manager!

Dr. Jenny Brewer

Dr. Jenny Brewer received her DVM degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA graduating with honors in 2010. Following graduation, Dr. Brewer completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson. In 2011, she moved to the High Desert area and has been working in small animal general practice ever since. Dr. Brewer has a special interest in dermatology, neurology and soft tissue surgery. During her free time, Dr. Brewer enjoys camping and traveling with her husband and two children.

Belinda - Credentialed Veterinary Technician

Belinda graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Animal Health Science in 2014 and became a licensed RVT in 2015. She joined the Rimforest Animal Hospital Family in 2022. In her free time she enjoys reading, mega Star Wars nerd and training in martial arts.

Annabelle

I'm Annabelle! Born and raised in California, I'm still new to the veterinary field, but I'm excited to learn and grow to better help the animals that cross my path. I went to school and graduated to be an RVT. I’m a video game and Star Wars nerd.

I'm Mel! I've lived and worked in our wonderful mountain community for over 27 years, I love this place, the beauty, the people here, and our clients especially. I'm super fortunate to be able to care for their four legged kids as well! I have two lil rescues, Lilly and Pea, who get to come to work with me everyday! I love reading, time outdoors, and traveling around with my amazingly wonderful Fiance... <3 <3

LeeAnn

Hiya I’m LeeAnn - currently in school to become a veterinary technician. I love all animals. I love living in the mountains because of the weather & seasons, winter is my favorite. Also love to go camping so it’s convenient! I love the life I live.

Veronica

Hi. I'm a Veronica that has lived and worked here in our beautiful San Bernardino mountains since 2018. I grew up in San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire, also lived in the Valley for 8yrs. I've been working with animals since 2001 and wouldn't have it any other way. I have 2 crazy kids named Titan Subotai and Penny Lane. In my free time I like to scrapbook, walk the lake, take adventures with my kids  like hiking and Overlanding.

Alondra

Alondra was born and raised in the San Bernardino mountains. She initially joined the team as a student and eventually got hired in May of 2023. Her love for animals came to be from growing up around horses, dogs, cats and various other animals you would typically find on a ranch. Alondra attended college in the city of Riverside and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Working with animals had been her life goal since she was a child and now dedicates this completed dream to her Father that passed in February of 2021.

Hi I'm Terri and I have had the experience of enjoying dogs and their people for 30 years and love my job! Retrievers are my breed- lab or goldens, but any dog speaks my language. On my days off I enjoy gardening and being by any kind of water, beach, lake or pool in the sunshine with my dogs.

Erica

I am Erica! I have lived in the San Bernardino Mountains for about 25 years, and enjoyed growing up in our community. I worked in the Hospitality and Food Service industries for 17 years, until deciding it was time to try something new and different! I joined the team here as a Receptionist in Spring of 2021, and have loved learning and growing in the Veterinary field, as well as working with the team here at Rimforest Animal Hospital! Most of my off time is spent with my Malamute Kunuk walking, hiking or taking adventures!!

Hi, my name is Shauna and I work as a part time receptionist here at Rimforest Animal Hospital. I moved to the mountains 3 years ago with my fiance. We now have an amazing son as well as a stubborn mastiff.

Hi, I’m Laura. I grew up here in the San Bernardino mountains. I love these mountains and spend a great deal of time outdoors with my dogs and horses, whether it’s exploring the forest or just lounging in the shade. I have been a kennel assistant here at Rim Forest Animal Hospital for the past 9 years. I really enjoy getting to meet and care for so many of the animals in our community. When I’m not working, I love training animals, photography, baking, and various other things.
